This class has so much to offer both you and your baby. Over the course of 5 weeks you will learn how to massage your baby from head to toe. Infant massage is a wonderful way for parent and baby to bond and strengthen attachment. Time massaging baby lends itself to learning baby’s cues through reciprocal communication and expression of love. You talk and sing to your baby while your baby laughs, coos, smiles, and kicks with excitement at the sight and sound of you. Learn strokes to help relieve baby’s fussiness due to a gassy stomach or colic. Learn how to help clear baby’s chest and nasal congestion due to illness, along with a whole host of other physical benefits for baby! Infant massage is a wonderful routine for both moms, dads, grandmas, even older siblings! Limit two adults per child.

Please join us for this unique mom and baby class! The intention of this group is to fill your bucket! Engage with other moms also experiencing postpartum to recover, heal, grow and thrive for your self, for your baby, and for your family. In this class, we will move our bodies with gentle stretches for abdominal and pelvic floor healing as well as songs, engagement, and tummy time play with baby. Each week will include different topics for discussion (see below); one topic to address mama needs and another topic to address baby’s needs all while sharing stories, getting to know and supporting fellow mamas within the group. This group was developed because the postpartum phase of motherhood as well as the mountain of information overload that you’re expected to know can be hard and it can be comforting to know we’re not alone.
Conversation topics with each class are as follows:
